Specialised Knowledge

Hi Everyone!

The story of Henry Ford’s court case is an inspiring story demonstrating the power of what you will learn in a further chapter as being a Master Mind Group. It also demonstrates the importance of networking and surrounding yourself with the right information.

You don’t have to know everything. You don’t have to present a product that is of benefit to everyone. Many mentors repeat, that if you are trying to sell to everyone you won’t sell much at all. You need to find your niche market.

Finding your niche is a matter of bringing your skills together, writing them down and following your passion by recognizing an angle that presents an area to specialise in that DRIVES you. The more specialised you are in a market the more people will seek you out as an authority in your chosen field. There are people making very lucrative livings from very obscure specialist areas.
If you are interested in learning more about marketing please let me know and I can put you in the right direction.

Take a look at where you are now. I know that we have some specialists in our group but one thing to remember is that you must always keep learning. The reason for this is that the world is constantly changing and if you decide that all you need is a degree and you stop there you have created limitations on your service potential.

Find something that you really love about where you are now and increase your knowledge of it. In the upcoming chapters there are precise steps to presenting yourself as being successful and as an asset to anywhere you decide to place your service. This is also where self confidence is important. You just have to dedicate your spare time to increasing the value of your service, and it won’t be a chore because you will have made the decision to do something that DRIVES you.
If you are not learning anything right now then it is time to. Enrol in a course; buy a book, study documentaries, whatever you have access to. I heard one motivational speaker stating that he reads at least 2 books a week. Personally, I have made it a habit to listen to at least an hour a day of videos or mp3’s by people that understand the principles I work with. These are easily found on the internet. It is also a great way to get to know the people that you may consider PAYING for KNOWLEDGE.

Constantly feed your mind with new thoughts and expert knowledge. You will soon begin to understand the importance of becoming an authority on your subject of choice. We all have something to share that somebody else wants to know more about. For now, if you don’t already know, begin to consider bringing knowledge you possess today into a specialist area.

During the week we will discuss refusing to compromise on the outcome of your desires and the importance of preparing a plan to market personal services.

Next week we are going to take the week to reflect on the instructions from chapters 2-5 before we move onto chapter 6 discussing ‘Imagination’.
