‘The ‘Master Mind’ may be defined as: ‘Co-ordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose’.’ Napoleon Hill
Now that you are beginning to understand what it takes to achieve your desires, it is time to find people that will help you in this purpose.
Hill describes the 3 sources of knowledge, and one of them is ACCUMULATED KNOWLEDGE; this being the knowledge that we have acquired during our life experiences.
Have you ever had a time when you wanted to do something but didn’t have the right information or experience to make it happen so your desire was once again placed on the back shelf?
To stop this from happening in the future, begin to surround yourself with people that have the same definite purpose in life. As you make the decision to persist, I can assure you that these people will begin to appear in your life. Whether it is through a chance meeting, a business acquaintance or through a friend they will start appearing and as you continue your journey they will begin to appear more frequently.
Hill explains in earlier chapters the kind of people you can choose to be around, and focuses on the necessity for these partnerships to be operating in a spirit of harmony. This is a great time to begin to analyse who you are currently surrounding yourself with. Are they encouraging you to achieve your desires, can they contribute to your purpose or are they keeping you right where you are today? Just by becoming aware of the people around you, you can begin to choose how you respond to their input in your life.
The most interesting point in this chapter is Hill’s explanation of what happens when two harmonious minds choose to work together and the creative energy that is produced by following the laws of nature.
When we choose not to do everything ourselves, but to create a collective mind that transmits far more energy, the results are obviously going to be more powerful. These truths are held in Einstein’s famous formula.
On an easier level it takes the weight away from you when you decide it is ok to seek the advice and help of others. The trick is to surround yourself with the right people!
I look forward to speaking with you again during the week.
