The 3 Laws of Successfully Handling Wealth!

Every gold piece you save is a slave to work for you. Every copper it earns is its child that also can earn for you. If you would become wealthy, then what you save must earn, and its children must earn, that all may help to give you the abundance you crave.’

The Richest Man in Babylon

The next lessons you are introduced to are the 3 laws of successfully handling wealth. You have learnt the first most important rule which is to ‘Pay Yourself First’. Now that you are paying yourself first... what do you do next?

The above quote is a great way to understand and perceive your money differently. It is also a lot of fun! And this is what life should be about. When people think about saving and putting money away for the future it can often bring feelings that you may be missing out or lacking something. If you follow these laws, you will know this is just not the case.

It is a lot of fun to consider your savings as golden slaves and the interest or returns that you earn on your savings or investments, to be the children of your slaves. Just keep ‘Paying Yourself First’ and as you do remember these laws:

1. Live on less than you earn - Learn to live on 90% of your income.

2. Seek advice from those who are competent through their own experiences to give it – As in the story – don’t entrust a bricklayer to invest your money in jewels. If it is jewels you want, seek the advice of a jeweller. Seek out sound advice.

3. Learn to make your money work for you – We will learn more about this but if you are just starting out remember to only invest where the principle is guaranteed. In other words, only invest where you are guaranteed not to lose your initial investment.

There are suggestions made that you must first prove yourself capable of handling the money you have now before new opportunities will be given to you. Prove to yourself that you can organize what you have now and who knows what may be around the corner!

Keep your golden slaves and their children working for you!

And if you are wondering what it is that you are doing this all for then maybe the following video will give you an insight into this!

Happy Manifesting!

Great video Julieanne! I love listening to Abraham Hicks. (and there are many others like them)

Sometimes I feel a bit conflicted with other books like the one being read and shared now. While there is excellent information given in the Richest man in Babylon it is also somewhat limiting in the way we think. I feel the book gives us practical financial advice but a book like Think and Grow Rich gives us...empowerment. The right way to think and feel in order to draw to us the things we are wanting. An absolutely wonderful and to the point book on this subject is the Master Key System! Great book, and it is also available online for free. (I can find the link if you like)

Am not against the book, and have read it in the past and enjoyed it. Your last paragraph really says it all. The book serves to get us to the point of being able to trust and believe in the likes of Abraham Hicks. Because really, all the financial information in the world, will not help bring abundance to us unless we really believe that we are worthy of it. That it is possible. Once we do, then books like this surely help us in many ways.

Thank so much for taking the time to write all this out and share with us!

Hi Lydia :)

This is exactly the point I am making and am so happy that you have seen this! We can have all the money in the world but if our spirit is not in the right place it means nothing. All that will happen is you keep searching or trying to buy the things that you think may make you happy then when you get them you find it is not that at all.

I do not write about these things from a point of not knowing this for sure as there was a time in my life where I had enough money to buy whatever I wanted, to vacation wherever I wanted. I had domestic staff including a driver, interpreter and security and with all this... I happily walked away because these things did not make me happy.

It gives me great joy to know that my point came across to you and I hope it does to others.

The Master Key System is a great book and am hoping to share it in our group in the future.

And you are right about Think and Grow Rich and the secret that lies in TAGR is exactly what we are discussing.

Hi Julieanne,

Yes, your point did come across and beautifully so! Am certain that the rest of the group will see it as well. You have a great way of expressing yourself and helping others find their way in a non-judgmental, non-offensive way and I applaud you for this.

I have walked away from much "security" myself in the last few years and have first hand seen and experienced the things I write about as well. This works.

A nice gathering of people in this group and am pleased to have found you.

Keep up the great work!

That's a very empowering video. With all of the turmoil in the financial world, we all need to feel empowered if we are ever going to get ourselves out of this mess. Now is also the time to equip ourselves with the tools to rebuild our finances and our lives. Rebuilding finances has to go hand in hand with rebuilding ourselves otherwise we'll end up right back into a mess.
Thanks for the great tips and inspiration!

Hi Maureen

Am glad you liked the video :) I have watched the video on your blog and was unsure how to comment as I imagine this must be devastating for the families involved.

There is some good that comes of all of these things, however I imagine they will find it hard to see at the moment.
